BOOK A Sweat WITH JACK IN OUR YORKVILLE STUDIO
"A smooth sea never made a skilled sailor"
Music Style: Hip Hop, Afrobeats, '00s R&B, Pop
Jack's personal life philosophy is to love the journey, not the destination. To be more action oriented than results oriented. Challenging yourself, chasing discomfort, and overcoming adversity -- is what makes an individual great and successful. The glitz, glamour and the wins that come with it are simply a byproduct.
At the age of 16 boxing became Jack's therapeutic outlet, and what started as a hobby, very quickly became something he grew passionate about. Eight years later, he is still actively competing and continues to improve and learn -- they say the best teachers are the best learners and as much as he is eager to share the knowledge of the sport, he is still constantly expanding his.
Martial arts has always appealed to Jack from a young age, but boxing is the one discipline he was naturally very good at. What he loves most about boxing is the art of 'hitting and not getting hit', the finesse, the footwork, the mental high-speed chess match, and the variety of styles -- to him, boxing was stylistically the most appealing martial art to watch.
Jack fights to be the best that he can be, and to lead by that example to inspire others to do the same. To show people that no matter what kind of struggle it is we go through, in all of life's challenges, and unforeseen difficulties -- we are all capable of something great.
