What is Rumble clasS like?

I’VE NEVER BOXED BEFORE, WILL I BE ABLE TO KEEP UP?

Absolutely. Our workouts are beginner-friendly and allow everyone to Rumble at their own pace. At the start of each class, we review the basic moves used throughout our workouts. We’re always available to help wrap your hands and answer any questions before class begins.

IS THERE A BEGINNER CLASS?

We do offer a first-timer’s class however, all of our classes are suitable for beginners.

We also offer private and buddy training if you’d like to brush up with some one-on-one technique before you step into a class setting.

SHOULD I BRING MY OWN GLOVES?

Sure! Alternatively, gloves are available to rent ($4) or for purchase at our front desk.

HOW OLD DO YOU HAVE TO BE TO TAKE A CLASS

You must be at least 14 years of age to participate in standard classes. We offer teen and kids classes at select locations through our Junior Rumble program, as well as buddy and private training for all ages.

DO YOU OFFER OTHER CLASS STYLES, OR IS THE HEAVY BAG CLASS THE ONLY OPTION?

We offer a variety of classes from bootcamps, to group training, private training and corporate classes, so there’s something for everyone.

DO YOU OFFER A MONTHLY MEMBERSHIP?

Yes we do. However, you are not required to make a long-term commitment to Rumble. You can purchase as many or as few classes as you like, but if you’re coming frequently and want to purchase a larger series of classes it will come at a discounted price. DO YOU OFFER GIFT CERTIFICATES?

Yes we do. Gift cards of any amount can be purchased in store or online.

HOW MANY CALORIES ARE BURNED PER CLASS?

Everyone is different, but on average our attendees burn 400-800 calories in an intense 50 minute heavy bag class.

WHAT ARE YOUR STUDIO RULES?

Everyone must sign a waiver to participate
If you need to cancel your reservation for a class, the reservation must be cancelled at least 12 hours before class begins. In order to hold the bag, we ask that you call the studio to let us know you are still on your way. The front desk will hold your bag until class start time. Once the studio doors are closed, you will not be permitted to enter. We have implemented this firm cut off time to ensure our classes run on time and to prevent other boxers from walking through someone else’s designated square.
For heavy bag classes we have a strict cancellation window. In order to cancel a class without losing the class or being charged a late cancel fee, you must cancel outside of the cancellation window. Rumbler’s can cancel by logging into their online account or calling the studio. Cancellation window’s vary between studios, please contact your studio to verify.
Hand wraps are required to participate in class. You may bring your own or purchase a set in studio.
We are not responsible for any items lost or stolen at our studio.
If a Rumbler intends to leave a class early, please ensure you notify your instructor ahead of time.

WHAT KIND OF SHOES SHOULD I WEAR?

Runners or indoor gym shoes are fine. Boxing boots are an asset as they help you to be light on your feet but any indoor running shoe will be just fine!

MY FRIENDS AND I WANT TO TAKE OUR FIRST CLASS TOGETHER. DO WE NEED TO CREATE OUR OWN ACCOUNTS TO SIGN UP?

Yes, each new Rumbler must create an account and sign a waiver either online or in studio before their first class.

DO YOU HAVE LOCKERS AND CHANGEROOMS?

We have full locker rooms and showers at 17 ave, Country Hills, Yaletown and Mount Pleasant locations where towels, hair dryers, and bath and body products are provided.
