  • Front of House Team

    A front-of-house role at Rumble Boxing means that you are the business’ frontline. You are the first point of contact for all clients.

    Front desk staff are expected to be knowledgeable in all aspects of our business and be able to educate customers on any questions they may have. Working a front desk position at Rumble Boxing covers many aspects of the business including check-in, cleaning, and sales. A position at Rumble Boxing is an exciting opportunity to learn and experience working at a growing boutique fitness brand.

It is the front houses’ responsibility to ensure everything runs smoothly for the entire team, which means working together with the whole Rumble team efficiently.

Front-of-house is expected to be able to manage the front desk independently, which means check-in, answering phones and cleaning.

    You can manage your time effectively. Front house duties are all about time management. You will work closely with the clock and must be able to manage your time effectively. During busy times front desk staff are expected to be able to turn over the heavy bag studio in 10 minutes or less! The clock is ticking and there is no time for slow pokes!

    You love people. The Rumble Tribe is always growing and there are always new people to meet. Most times the front desk is the first point of contact for all of Rumble’s clients. You are the face of Rumble. Time to make a fantastic first impression and make sure they have a great experience.

    You have a keen eye for clean. At Rumble, we run a tight ship. We have an extremely high standard of cleanliness and as front-of-house staff, you are expected to be able to spot even the smallest mess and clean it up ASAP.

    Responsibilities

    • Sign in for classes
    • Sales
    • Daily cleaning of the facility
    • Represent Rumble Boxing at community events

    • Cleaning + turning over studio between classes

    Education/Work Experience

    • Experience in the group fitness industry preferred
    • Minimum 2 years customer service experience considered an asset
    • Sales experience is an asset

  • Motivator

    Rumble is searching for the next Rockstar motivator to add to our team. We are looking for the best of the best to lead our Rumble Tribe through a badass workout. As a motivator, you have 50 minutes to provide a killer full body workout in our heavy bag studio while hitting to the beat of the music. It is your job to execute our Fightclub meets Nightclub studio experience.

    QUALITIES

    You have the “IT” factor. Rumble motivators are one of a kind. Each instructor has the freedom to express their personality and truly shine in the studio! Each motivator must have that special spark that keeps clients coming back for more.

    You can manage the clock. In a Rumble class, you only have 50 minutes to fit in a full body workout that flows to the music. An instructor must be able to manage their time effectively and make sure that class ends on time while never feeling rushed or unfinished.

    You have the ability to lead and light a fire in everyone. Everyone working at Rumble boxing is always hungry for more. You never settle and nothing is ever “good enough”. You must have an internal fire that will drive you to push further than you did yesterday and we expect you to be able to motivate each and every person in your class to push that extra 1% harder. 

    You are physically fit. A Rumble motivator is expected to lead the class by demonstrating all exercises while maintaining high energy throughout the class. There is no time for getting tired, you have 50 minutes to shine, make it count.

    You can think on your feet. A motivator must be able to offer modifications to exercises on the fly while in class to suit all levels of experience and fitness in class.

    SKILLS

    • Excellent verbal communication skills
    • Top-notch organizational skills
    • Ability to create boxing combinations that flow with the music
    • Customer service experience
    • Must have the ability to work a non-traditional work schedule
    • Ability to count music and hit to the beat

    RESPONSIBILITIES

    • Creating 2-3 killer track lists per week
    • Maintain a high level of technical training
    • Explaining, demonstrating and correcting proper technique in the studio to be able to minimize injury
    • Creating exciting and different choreography in accordance to Rumble guidelines
    • Attending mandatory instructor training sessions
    • Creating new motivational scripts to engage your classes

    EDUCATION/WORK EXPERIENCE

    • 2 years Group Fitness Instruction Experience
    • Previous Boxing experience considered an asset

  • Personal Trainer

    We are looking for energetic, creative, and enthusiastic Personal Trainers to join the Rumble Boxing team. This is an hourly position that is great for candidates looking to make a significant impact in a growing, dynamic fitness organization. There are many opportunities with this position including creating your own schedule and potential for further education where necessary. If you are a high performing individual who is passionate about winning and inspiring others then we have an exciting opportunity for you!

    QUALITIES

    You can work as a team. There is no “I” in Rumble. Personal training at Rumble Boxing is not a one-man sport. We work together as a team to be able to create an all-encompassing training program to cater to each client’s specific needs. We allow clients to train with multiple trainers.

    You are strong (mentally and physically). We require all of our trainers at Rumble Boxing to be able to create their own workout plans tailored to each clients’ needs. Trainers are also expected to be able to complete various physical fitness tasks such as running, jumping, squatting and lifting up to 50 lbs at a time.

    You have a fire inside and strive to be 1% better every day. Everyone working at Rumble Boxing is always hungry for more. You never settle and nothing is ever “good enough”. You must have an internal fire that will drive you to push further than you did yesterday. A trainer at Rumble must also be able to transfer this philosophy to their clients to be able to push themselves further than they thought they could.

    You have a safety first mentality! A Rumble we expect trainers to have knowledge on how to operate equipment safely as well as be able to offer modifications to all exercises to be able to ensure the safety of all Rumble clients.

    SKILLS

    RESPONSIBILITIES

    • Administer fitness evaluations, orientations, stretching and personal training sessions
    • Establish and maintain a personal training client base according to company standards
    • Instruct and demonstrate proper technique and use of exercise equipment
    • Providing excellent customer service to each and every Rumble Client

    • Attend personal training related meetings weekly

    QUALIFICATIONS

    • Current nationally recognized Personal Training certification – (preferred)
    • CPR/AED certification
    • 1-3 yrs. of previous Personal Training experience (preferred)
    • 2+ years boxing or martial arts experience (asset – not essential)

    Karma Overview:

    The Karma role at Rumble Boxing is a unique position designed to help support our Front of House staff with everyday duties. As a Karma Tribe member, you have a choice to work one 3 hour shift a week or two 3 hour shifts a week. In return, when you work one 3-hour shift a week you will receive a 10 class pack every month. If you work two 3-hour shifts a week you will receive an unlimited pass! This position helps to cover prime and off hour times between 1:00PM and 4:00PM and 5:00PM and 8:00PM Monday to Friday. A Karma position at Rumble Boxing is an exciting opportunity to learn and experience working at a growing boutique fitness brand.

  • Studio Coordinator

    The Studio Coordinator is the face of Rumble Boxing. You will play a pivotal role in supervising the studio, training the front of house team, and driving membership sales and client retention. We are looking for a team player who brings knowledge, energy and hands on experience that is needed to provide the premium customer service for all of our Rumble Tribe!

    QUALITIES

There are always many things going on, which is why it is so important to be able to multitask effectively. The studio coordinator is trusted to be able to manage the front desk, scheduling, client retention, sales, and anything else to ensure the client experience is 110%.

     

    You can manage your time effectively. Studio Coordinator is all about time management. You will work closely with the clock and must be able to manage your time effectively. From inventory and retail management to scheduling and maintaining the studios social media standards, you have the time management skills to handle it all!

    You have a keen eye for details. At Rumble we run a tight ship. We have an extremely high standard of cleanliness and as the Studio Coordinator you are expected to be able to spot even the smallest flaw and maintain the highest of standards.

    SKILLS & QUALIFICATIONS

    • Ability to coordinate a team of 10-20 between front house and motivators
    • Representation of Rumble culture, core values, lead by example
    • Drive continuous improvement on Rumble customer experience, product quality, admin efficiency.
    • In depth understanding of business day to day operations
    • Execute all marketing campaigns and communications
    • Excellent communication skills
    • 5-10 years of business experience or equivalent
    • Basic responsibilities include:
      • Managing of day-to-day studio operations including maintenance, inventory, stocking and cleanliness
      • Class and staff scheduling
      • Extensive work in MindBody including reporting, schedule maintenance and troubleshooting
      • Execution of studio level campaigns including challenges and promotions
      • Lead daily huddle meetings and set/achieve sales targets
